Guild Creed------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Head Hunters is an endgame guild. This includes both PvE and PvP content. Second place is for losers and carebears, and we are neither. The goal is simple: play to win. The path, difficult: We must eliminate all competition. The means? Total dominance over our opponents. If aspiring to be the best isn't your objective, you should go find a carebear guild to join - we'll be looking to kill you and your friends at every available opportunity. Guild Rule Book------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a prominent gaming network, Head Hunters strives to earn and maintain the respect of other guilds and players throughout the community. We value strength, honor, and integrity and expect members to represent these traits. As a member your actions reflect on every member of the team. It is therefore necessary to understand and abide by the following rule book while playing your character. While violations will lead to reprimands, adherence will lead to a positive reputation for us all. General Conduct - Be useful to the guild. Any form of drama will result in quick dismissal from the guild.
- Be an active player. Every weekend the roster will be cleaned up, meaning that 30 days of inactivity without prior notice will lead to a temporary dismissal from the guild.
- When grouping, always join a guild group. Guild groups take precedence.
- Be respectful in any form of global chat/chatroom. There is no need to trash talk.
- MUMBLE is MANDATORY.
- You must register on the website.
- You must associate a character with your website account once your character reaches level 20.
- You must check the website at least each couple of days. You never know what you might find useful here.
MUMBLE Conduct- Do not log on the MUMBLE server under an Alias that is NOT your character name. Your default MUMBLE information will be Username: "Character Name" and Password: "newpass"
- Do not give our MUMBLE information to anyone outside the guild without an officer's permission.
- Be respectful of other people: set your microphone to an appropriate level, don't be too loud or noisy, do not talk over other people, respect the purpose of each channel.
- Respect the group hierarchy during Guild Events. Don't speak over the officer in charge during the events unless spoken to.
Website and Forums Conduct- Talk it up. This is a social guild so regular conversation is welcome.
- If you need information, ask a guildie or check the forums first instead of spamming public channels.
- We all slip out with profanity occasionally, just don't let it get excessive.
- No open arguments in guild chat. Take it to /tell if you have to. /Ignore is amazing. - Dismissal of the involved parties will be used as a last resort -
- Have fun. When it gets frustrating, take a breather. Being PO'd is no reason to start ruining a guildie's day.
- No abusive language will be tolerated. Bustin' a guildies chops jokingly is ok. Don't let it get out of hand - joke, laugh, move on. In game chat rules apply equally when posting on our website.
- Members are expected to visit the HH web site regularly. Communication is key to success, and our website is an instrumental tool in facilitating open communication. Checking the site for news and updates before logging in would be an ideal routine to adapt.
- Members should be willing to give AND receive constructive criticism. Members are encouraged to share their observations and offer suggestions on how improvements to play style and execution can be made. Anyone offering such constructive criticism should post their ideas in the appropriate forum on our website, taking care to thoroughly consider their wording. The member receiving such constructive criticism should take note of the suggestions and apply them to verify whether or not it does improve their game. If the suggestion does prove to have a positive effect, acknowledge it so others adopt the practice. If the suggestion proves meritless, calmly state the fact and move on. No member should interpret such observations and suggestions as flaming - there is no room for over-sensitive egotistical pride here.
Player-Versus-Environment Conduct- MUMBLE is MANDATORY.
- Members are expected to be available for guild raids.
- Events will be scheduled with plenty of advance notice. Members are expected to be ready and present at the prescribed meeting location by 9:00pm UTC+2 on event nights.
- PvE events will begin forming at 9:00 pm UTC+2. First pull will be by 9:30 pm SHARP. Members who consistently delay the start of events will initially be penalized credit, and ultimately find themselves looking for a new guild.
- Being online during a guild event and refusing to participate will be grounds for dismissal from HH. We are a team - by joining HH you are acknowledging your willingness and desire to be a team player.
Player-Versus-Player Conduct- MUMBLE is MANDATORY.
- Respect the hierarchy in your group.
- When someone, anyone, in any MUMBLE channel, yells "PVP" then all communications need to stop until the end of the encounter, except if in a group with that person.
- Listen to the group leader and focus targets accordingly.
- Do NOT intervene over the group leader on MUMBLE. This makes it really hard to focus.
- Not showing up for a planned PVP event will result in a credit penalty.
Group Forming ConductGroup forming will take place on either the website for scheduled events, and/org on MUMBLE and on the Guild Channel for unscheduled events. The typical format should be (but this cannot be mandated): - [Guild Channel] Hyadum: We are gonna do a Boss Run, need 3 More. X Up.
- [Guild Channel] Member1: x
- [Guild Channel] Member2: x
- [Guild Channel] Member3: y <- this guy is looking for a guildkick.
You will be promply invited to the party/raid and you need to meet up with the group leader at the specified location. Pretending to be AFK will be penalized. It is up to the officer to decide wether you dropping whatever you are doing is reasonable or not. Nobody is asking you to drop out of a Boss fight just for the sake of it, but if all you're doing is sitting in Tristram emoting traders, then you are expected on the battlefield. Leaving- If you are thinking about leaving Head Hunters, please talk it over with an officer first.
- If you have concerns, let's at least see if there are ways to address them.
- Please do NOT post public applications with other guilds while you are still a member of Head Hunters. Such action is disrespectful and will lead to your former guildmates making your corpse, and those of your new carebear friends, look like brutalized roadkill.
- If you do decide to leave Head Hunters all rank, DKP, and other related credit will be forfeited.
